How I Learned To Fall In Love With Eyewear Again

Let me start off by saying in my younger years wearing glasses was viewed as a massive burden for me. I would get picked on, taunted and could feel people staring at me when i placed the frames upon my face. I would only really put them on during classes when i needed to and then whip them right off of my face when class ended. Straining my eyes to try and see what bus number was coming or sitting front row in the class was just a few of the tactics that i had applied so that i wouldnt need to put on glasses.

Fast forward many eye appointments later to the present day and i now see my glasses as an extension of myself, its who i am, its what people see first when they look at me. So it was important to me to have something that matches my colorful wardrobe and equeally colourful personality. Wearing glasses on a daily basis three things were important to me: compatibility with my ever changing style, comfort of frame and most importantly be affordable.

Gone are the days of forkin out £170 or more in Specsavers for designer glasses with limited options. Iolla provides multiple collections in multiple colourways all for only £65! Might i also mention that they sell sunglasses aswell so you are certainly spoilt for choice.

My experience with Iolla has always been a pain free journey. The moment i stepped into thier store i felt welcome and at home, the sales assistant was warm and so helpful when it comes to the old face shape and frame shape debate, she helped build the confidence that i had lost long ago. With her in depth knowledge of the products and understanding of what i was looking for in a frame i felt cared for and always left satisfied that i had made the right descision.

I do love everything about this brand, the name, the products and the service! I look forward to expanding my collection and trying different frame shapes in the future, but for now i think my favourites are defintely the Muir collection! Let me know what frames are your favourites or if your looking for a change of frames which ones would you choose from Iolla?
