Walking With Dinosaurs at The Hydro

When I think back to my child hood Jurassic Park was definitely one of the movies I loved to watch as a kid. I was either holding my breath when the T Rex was sniffing about trying to retrieve her baby or watching through my fingers as the kids in the movie hid from raptors within the kitchen.

If you follow me on my social media you may have noticed I have a dinosaur obsessed nephew who lives and breathes everything dinosaur, so what better present for his 5th birthday than to get him tickets to go see the Walking With Dinosaurs show at The SECC Hydro (and yes he did think they were 100% alive, we didn't have the heart to tell him they were animatronics).

The show was so well done that even I forgot that the dinosaurs were simply animatronics, the detail that had gone into constructing these massive dinosaurs was amazing! Their eyelids even moved! The music throughout the show was absolutely brilliant, creating intense atmospheres during each fight scene and I would say overall it was totally worth every penny seeing his reaction to the show.
