Fancy a Cuppa?

I happened to stumble upon The Cup & Saucer with my sister after our recent visit to The Root Of Magic, we needed something to fill the small hole forming in our bellies.

Of course as soon as i stepped into the cafe i was in my element, as an avid lover of all things vintage i lit up like a christmas tree. The inner me was squealing at everything from the dainty 1940's decor to the scrumptious scones.

We decided to choose the popular 'Afternoon Tea' complete with sandwiches, scones, sponge cake, tray bake and a pot of tea from the menu as this was the best value for money and was more than enough to fill us up ( i had to end up asking for a doggy bag as there was so much cake, not that i'm complaining). I would definitely recommend the coffee cake. With home baking as good as this its no surprise that the vintage tearoom is always busy.
